About MERSAAD

مرصاد Mersaad

The meaning behind the name

Mersaad is an Arabic word for a place of observation, a vantage point where you watch for what is coming and act before it escalates. That is how we approach carbon. We intercept it and convert it before it does harm, and we turn it into something of lasting value.

Mission

What we are building

MERSAAD is a carbon technology company based in Dhahran Techno Valley. We develop and deploy technologies that permanently remove and convert CO₂ into valuable minerals. We work at the intersection of carbon removal, industrial chemistry, and infrastructure.

Research collaboration

In partnership with KFUPM

MERSAAD works with the College of Petroleum Engineering and Geosciences at KFUPM and with Dhahran Techno Valley, one of the region's leading research and technology hubs. We have also signed a research and development agreement with KFUPM, along with IP commercialization agreements that move university CO₂ related research toward real-world use. This gives our work a foundation in one of the region's strongest applied research institutions.
